The protagonist, Commando Karanveer Singh Dogra (Vidyut Jamwal), is a commando skilled in many aspects of survival, weaponry, and hand-to-hand combat. How they succeed forms the crux of the story.Vicky Chadda is supposed to be the biggest dealer for black money in India. Karan is on the trail & tracks down and kills Vicky's operatives one by one. Karan's boss (Adil Hussain), the head of the special cell created for black money eradication, tells Karan that Vikcy has been arrested in Malaysia. But Adil asks Karan to keep the news under wraps.Indian Home Minister Leena Chowdhury (Shefali Shah) is a big promoter of eradicating black money. But her own son Dishank Chowdhury (Suhail Nayyar), is working on behalf of several rich people in India to launder black money. Dishank is afraid that is Vicky returns to India, everyone will be exposed & he will be forced to commit suicide. But Vicky cannot be eliminated as he has moved almost Rs 1 Lakh Crore into an unknown account with the details only in his mind.Leena & Dishank decide to use a special team to bring Vicky back to India. Unknown to them, Karan has bugged their rooms and knows their plan. The special team consists of ACP Bakhtawar (a politician's favorite), Bhavna Reddy (encounter specialist), Zafar (cyber specialist and hacker) and Sharad Pandey (Leena personal confidant and a member of the police force). The team has been instructed by Leena to take Vicky to Tihar jail & get the account details from him. Then, Leena will instigate a riot in the prison in which Vicky will be injured and will die on the way to the hospital. Karan infiltrates the team by forcing Sharad Pandey to bring upon a stroke on himself and to get admitted to hospital.At the Malaysian safe house, the team meets Vicky and his wife Maria (Esha Gupta). Vicky protests that he is innocent, but Bhaktawar is under orders not to interrogate Vicky and to bring him to India. Maria meets Karan in isolation & tells him that Vicky used to live a peaceful life as a banker in Dubai, with Maria & their daughter. A few years ago, he was introduced to Dishank and his Indian businessmen friends who offered him 10% for converting their black money. When Vicky refused, they kidnapped his father in India. Vicky had no choice but to relent. But then Dishank also started created a hype around Vicky's illegal deals. Vicky decided to come clean and wrote to the finance ministry in India. But the next day his car blew up, Vicky was crippled, and their daughter died. Vicky decided to avenge his dead daughter and moved the money into an unknown account.Karan asks Zafar to check out the story that Maria gave him. Zafar does the checks, and all the facts check out. Karan believes Maria. On the way to the airport, the group is attacked & Karan convinces Bakhtawar to divert the boat to Thailand, where Vicky claims he has hidden the money. When Bakhtawar resists, Karan shoots him (only injures him slightly) to escape with the rest.At a secluded spot, Maria reveals herself to be the real Vicky and shoots the man posing to be Vicky. She leaves with her entourage but after shooting Zafar. After recovering Karan & Bhavna decide to stop Vicky from accessing the money. But while they pursue Vicky, Bakhtawar and his entire team tracks Bhavna and Karan. Karan corners Vicky and is about to arrest her when Bakhtawar arrives, disarms Karan & makes a deal with Vicky to help her escape for a 10% commission.Now Karan and Vicky engage in a cat and mouse game. Karan starts to track Vicky's hiding location & Vicky starts to eliminate all his leads. So, Karan pretends that he and Bhavna have been arrested by Indian authorities and deported. This leads Vicky in a false sense of security.
Karan now is able to track a hacker who is working for Vicky to identify Lakhs of dead people who forgot to close their bank accounts. The hacker is hacking those accounts, so Vicky can transfer the money in her account to these accounts in small denominations, making it impossible to track. From there, the money would be slowly transferred to any account of Vicky's choosing. All Vicky needs is her own laptop from the bank locker which she can use to initiate the transfer.
Karan survives the bank locker but finds that Vicky has send many men of the same description to extract the laptop. But Karan uses infra-red glasses to find which man has the laptop. Karan tracks the laptop to get to Vicky, but is engaged by Bakhtawar, and Vicky is able to complete the transfer.Once it is done, Karan reveals that this was all a big plan from the beginning. Vicky had not transferred the money into accounts of dead people but the accounts of 3 Crore Indian farmers. Karan has switched the program of the hacker, before it was delivered to Vicky. Leena was involved in the plan & so was Bakhtawar, since Leena knew that Vicky's enemies would make different plans if she did not take control of the situation.

When he takes the book and the clues to the RAW headquarters, the agency understands the legitimacy of the situation and puts Yash in charge of tracking down the conspirer. He is teamed with another RAW agent, KK, and together they track down the culprit in the Indian embassy of Budapest.The mastermind of this conspiracy against RAW agents is Shiv Sharma, a nerdy hacker who is planning something bigger. In Budapest, a cat and mouse chase begins between Shiv and KK and Yash; they come close to nabbing him several times, but he always proves to be a step ahead. Multiple chase sequences ensue but each time, Shiv manages to escape.
While digging into Shiv's past for more information, ACP Yash learns that Shiv is actually a pseudonym used by this terrorist to mask his real identity as Rudra Pratap Singh - the son of a RAW agent, who had been sacrificed in an operation years ago.Yash learns that Rudra is now seeking revenge from RAW for betraying his father. Eventually, in an assembly in Budapest, Rudra gears up to shoot the minister who was responsible for his father's death. But KK and Yash reach there in time and kill him before he can do harm. But before he can die, Yash forces the minister to accept his mistakes to the media, clearing Rudra's father's name. Rudra dies in peace hearing this.

Varun Batra (Akshay Kumar) is a salesman at a Volkswagen dealership and a good one at that. Deepti Batra (Kareena Kapoor Khan) is his spunky wife. They are trying hard for a kid, but its not working out. Varun feels pressured for sex and is unable to perform in bed.His sister Richa (Anjana Sukhani) suggests that they visit an IVF specialist Dr Anand Joshi (Adil Hussain), who explains that the duo will have to undergo In-Vitro fertilization to conceive a child. Varun has a crush on Anand's wife Dr. Sandhya Joshi (Tisca Chopra)After the IVF is complete, 12 days later Sandhya calls Deepti in for an emergency check-up. At the clinic the due meet Honey Batra (Diljit Dosanjh) and Monika Batra (Kiara Advani). Anand and Sandhya explain that due to the same surname, the sperm got mixed up. Which means Honey's sperm in Deepti's egg, inside Deepti and Varun's sperm in Monika's egg inside Monika.Despite long odds, both ladies get pregnant. Varun wants Deepti to abort. Varun considers Honey to be an imbecile and simply cannot bear the thought of his genes in a child that Deepti would bring up. Varun wants to abort vehemently, but Deepti is not sure.
Varun even tells Honey that he doesn't consider the kid inside Deepti as his own. Honey and Monika are different, they consider both kids as their own (the one inside Monika and the one inside Deepti)
To ensure that Deepti and Varun don't abort, they buy an apartment next to Varun and move in.Honey even suggests that after delivery Deepti hands over her kid to Monika. Deepti is livid at the suggestion, but Varun is cool. Deepti asks Richa to draw up a legal contract that states that after delivery both families won't have any rights over each other's kids. But when they call Monika and Honey for the signing, they bring their own contract stating how their kid inside Deepti should be brought up and his / her career choices. It's clear that Honey and Monika want deeper relations while Deepti and Varun want to exit any possible relations.Deepti reaches out to Monika, and both connect. Monika tells Deepti has she had a miscarriage twice before. Varun and Honey end up fighting when Honey demands that Deepti quits her job to take care of his child. This happens in a bar where Honey misbehaves and is thus locked up after Varun leaves. That night Monika has pains and asks Varun to help out. He takes her to the hospital. Monika gives birth to a girl, prematurely, but her chances of survival are slim. Varun cries as Honey comes to the hospital.Varun completely changes 180 degrees and hugs Deepti and his kid inside her. Monika's kid survives and Monika and Honey take her home with great pomp and celebration. Deepti and Varun participate 100% in her recovery.
2 months later, Deepti goes into labor and at the precise moment, Varun gets a slip disc. Honey takes Deepti and Varun to the hospital. Deepti has a baby girl as well.

Their relationship develops on Changez's return to the USA, where he becomes a high-flying employee under his boss Jim Cross (Kiefer Sutherland).Changez is away in Manila on business when the World Trade Center attacks take place, and on return to the USA finds himself a figure of automatic suspicion, being strip-searched on arrival in New York. Gradually his positive attitude towards America begins to change. Despite sleeping with Erica, their relationship further deteriorates as she fails to move on from her boyfriend's death.During a business visit to Istanbul Changez values a publisher, and finds it worth no money. He discovers that the publisher published translations of his father's poems in Turkish. He cannot bring himself to only look at the money, and resigns from Underwood Samson. He returns to New York and has a last meeting with Erica.
Changez returns to Lahore. He begins lecturing at Lahore University, where he voices his dissatisfaction with the US's interference in Pakistan and also meets suspected Al-Qaida members, causing the US to raid his house and threaten members of his family.Fast forward to the present day, both Bobby and Changez are under pressure from the CIA and protestors outside the cafe, leading the CIA to move in. Changez reveals that despite his opposition to the US he refused to join Al-Qaida as his anti-US sentiment does not define him; Bobby in turn admits that Rainier was a CIA officer. As the protests in Lahore grow more violent, Changez suggests a butcher's shop where Rainier may have been taken.Tensions and suspicions escalate as the protesters grow further enraged and Bobby becomes suspicious of Changez, who is sending tense text messages on his cellphone. The CIA inform Bobby that Rainier is, in fact, already dead, leading him to drag Changez out of the cafe at gunpoint. As Changez appeals for calm from the protestors, Bobby accidentally shoots and kills Sameer (Imaad Shah), one of Changez's militant students. As the CIA extract Bobby, they reveal to Bobby both that Rainier had died earlier that day and that Changez had already offered to work with the CIA - the text messages he sent were to his sister, Bina (Meesha Shafi).Changez delivers a eulogy at Sameer's funeral as Bobby recuperates in hospital, recalling Changez's words - "Looks can be deceiving. I am a lover of America." The film ends with the note.
