Synopsis

After seven long years of estrangement, Anne has a chance encounter with her now unhappily married old flame Christian. And having all the time in the world, the former lovers embark on a trip down memory lane while heading to the picturesque Carry-le-Rouet seaside resort west of Marseille, reminiscing about what brought them together. After all, Christian still remembers the sweet scent of Anne's smooth skin and graceful body. As the romantic escapade unearths forgotten aspects of a once-passionate relationship, bitter revelations come to light, prompting the alienated lovers to settle old scores, thirsty for relief. But weighty, unanswered what-ifs stand in the way of closure. Will Anne and Christian give love a second chance behind the wooden blue shutters?—Nick Riganas
