When all seems to go well, a murder attempt on Jeeva's father disturbs everything.Jeeva's father had witnessed a girl being taken by a gang in his car. The girl gets killed and Jeeva's father decides to knock the doors of justice. Sensing trouble, the gang eventually murders him.The death of his father shatters Jeeva. He vows to take revenge on the killers. He sets out on a mission to identify the culprits and goes running around the town baying for their blood. How he avenges the killers forms the rest of the story.

The story is based on the early life of the Prince Arjuna (Yuddvir Bakolia), loosely taken from the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata. The story-line begins with Arjun as a nine-year-old boy and follows him until he grows into the warrior that the world knows him as. It explores his life with his brothers in Hastinapur, his training and education, and his ultimate discovery of the warrior within himself.The movie begins with Uttar, the young prince of Viratnagar (Kingdom of king Virata), asking a maid (Brihannala) to tell him a story. The maid narrates him the story of Arjun.
Pandu was the King of Hastinapur. He left the Kingdom to his brother Dhritrashtra and went to the forest for penance, with his 2 wives. With the blessing of the Gods, he had 5 sons. Pandu dies after that and Kunti (Ila Arun) (the elder wife) brings the kids back to Hastinapur, while the 2nd wife Satis. The Prime Minister delivers the kids to the ashram of Guru Drona.Arjun was a student of Drona (Ravi Khanwilkar), and that he learned the art of warfare from him. He was more skilled than all the students of Drona. None of his own brothers, nor his cousins - the hundred Kauravas - could equal him in the art. Duryodhana and the other Kauravas despised the Pandavas, for they feared that they might usurp Duryodhana's throne. Duryodhana had a rivalry with Bheem (Ashok Banthia) and tries to kill him several times by poisoning him or throwing his unconscious body into deep river waters. But Bheem survives.
At the royal tournament, Duryodhan props up Karna to face and challenge Arjun as the best archer of the world. Arjun is a kid but wants to face Karna. Drona intervenes and stop this by saying that Karna is not eligible to fight Arjun.
Bheeshma (Vishnu Sharma) advises Dhritrashtra not to do injustice to Yudhishthira, in his love for his own son. Else war is inevitable.When the king Dhritrashtra grew older, the rivalry between his sons the Kauravas and the Pandavas intensified. Twice, Duryodhana (Hemant Mahaur) attempted to kill all the Pandavas but failed. One time by sanctioning a tribal Susharman to build a combustible palace for his cousins at Varnavrat. But the Pandavas manage to escape the raging fire. Bheem finds and kills some of the tribal.
In the meantime, Arjun won a Swayamvar (Arjun and Bheem heard about it from a travelling group of ascetics. Yudhishthira thinks that Pandavas can challenge Duryodhana if Panchal King's army supports them), and married the daughter of the King of Panchala, Draupadi (Rajeshwari Sachdev). The Pandavas return to Hastinapur triumphant.To avoid further conflict, Dhritrashtra proclaimed Duryodhana as the crown prince of Hastinapur, and asked Yudhishthira (Brijesh Jha) to be the king of a distant unkempt territory of the empire. Lord Krishna (Sachin Khedekar) meets the Pandavas in Khandavprastha and tells them to create a powerful kingdom with their hard work. They are attacked by Susharman and their tribal bandits, but Arjun and Krishna fend them off.
The Pandavas construct a lavish Kingdom in the space of a few short years and invite the entire world for Yudhishthira's coronation.Duryodhana, who loathed the Pandavas, hatched a conspiracy with his uncle Shakuni (Vijay Kashyap) and won all that belonged to the Pandavas in a betting game called Chaupar. After losing everything, Yudhishthira bet his own brothers and Draupadi, and even himself. Draupadi was insulted in front of everyone, but Arjuna could not say anything because Yudhishthira was the king, and the king's words are the last words. Dhritrashtra feels Duryodhana went overboard and orders that the last dice be re-played with revised terms.
The Pandavas, according to the rules of the game, had to go into exile for twelve years and an Agyatavasa for one year. While all the Pandavas go one way, Arjuna travels North to do Tapasya. Before leaving, Draupadi makes him promise that he will take revenge for her insult. He then leaves, and does Tapasya, during which he earns a bow from the Lord Shiva (Aanjjan Srivastav) after passing a series of test from him.The story then shifts back to the present day Viratnagar. It is revealed that the Pandavas are spending their secret exile, or 'Agyatavasa', there, and are noticed by some of the spies of Duryodhana. According to the outcome of the game, if any one of the Pandavas is found before the end of that one year, the Pandavas will have to again go for a twelve-year exile. The spy informs Duryodhana that the Pandavas are in Viratnagar. So, he launches an attack on Viratnagar with the help of his bandit friends. The king of Viratnagar leaves to thrash the marauding bandits. However, that is the bait. From the other direction Duryodhana's army comes, and it seems that the young prince of Viratnagar is the only one who is left to fight.Uttar's maid drives the young prince's chariot to the field, but the prince, distraught by the number of enemies, flees. The maid stops him and reveals her true identity: the maid (Brihannala) comes out as Arjun. Arjun retrieves his bow and makes prince Uttar drive his chariot. The warrior massacres the army and emerges victorious and at last Arjuna alone defeats all Kaurava warriors including Bhisma and Drona.

In Kalimpong, Maya D'Souza (Kareena Kapoor Khan) is a divorced, single mother who works at a cafeteria. Naren Vyas (Jaideep Ahlawat) is a reclusive, but brilliant mathematics teacher, who lives next door to Maya and Tara (Naisha Khanna) (Maya's daughter).
Through a gap in the wall, Naren can peep into Maya's apartment and see everything that is going on in their lives.Naren is solemn and introverted, and his morning exchanges with Maya from whose cafeteria he buys lunch, is the brightest part of his day. Maya's colleague at the cafeteria tells her that Naren only comes to the cafeteria when Maya is at the counter. She says that Naren has a crush on Maya.
Ajit (Saurabh Sachdeva), Maya's abusive ex-husband, shows up one night to extort money from Maya, threatening both her and Tara. Ajit has found Maya after 14 years and it is implied that Maya is not her real name, she had changed it from Soniya to protect her whereabouts from Ajit.
Ajit follows Maya home, who gives him whatever little money she has. Maya wants Ajit gone as soon as possible. Ajit wants to take Tara and push her into the prostitution business, just like Maya was before.
The situation quickly escalates into violence and Ajit is killed by mother and daughter on the apartment floor.Overhearing the commotion from his room and deducing that Ajit has been killed, Naren offers his help to the mother and daughter. He not only disposes the body, but also plots the cover-up step-by-step. The evidence shows that Maya strangled Ajit with a wire, while Tara grabbed his hands by her nails, so he could not save himself. He sanitizes the heating rod wire that was used to kill Ajit and also the entire apartment. Ajit was staying at hotel Alice Villa, and had paid for 3 days, 2 days ago. So, Naren says that they have 1 day before his absence is reported.
Naren says that since Ajit was in the police, someone will come looking for him.
Naren asks Maya and Tara to create an evidence trail for themselves.When the body turns up and is identified, Inspector Karan Anand (Vijay Varma), who was initially investigating the disappearance of Ajit and happens to be the former classmate of Naren, draws the case and Maya comes under suspicion. Ajit was suspected to be a major money launderer for the mafia and was in the police himself. A strip club owner tells Karan that Ajit had come in a week ago and was talking about a lottery in Kalimpong.
Karan reaches Kalimpong and has coffee at Maya's cafe. Maya says that she has not seen Ajit.Karan finds Ajit's luggage in hotel Alice Villa. He finds that Ajit was looking for a school. Karan finds Maya there talking to Tara. Karan checks out Maya's connection to Ajit. Naren tells Maya that Karan will come for her. Naren asks her to pretend that Ajit is still alive. He says that Ajit's body will never be found.
Karan finds a deeply charred body in the jungle with Ajit's ID next to it. The body has no fingerprints or teeth. The body had traces of blood on the clothes, and blood matches DNA samples picked from Ajit's room. Karan concludes that the body belongs to Ajit. He died at around 7 pm.Karan meets Maya at her house and this time she says that Ajit was her husband. She doesn't want Ajit anywhere near her daughter. She says Ajit came to Kalimpong to ask her for money. Maya says that Ajit married her and then sold her to Paradise strip club.
Maya says that on the day of Ajit's murder at 7 PM she was watching a movie at Capitol Cinema with Tara. They had dinner after that, and then Karaoke. They left home around 5:30 PM and returned at 11 PM.Karan is unable to find any obvious holes in Maya's manufactured alibi, but he is still sure that there is something wrong with her alibi, a suspicion that he cannot shake. Karan says that the night of the murder was Thursday and Tara had school the next day. Why would Maya keep her out till 11 PM in that scenario.
Karan questions Tara as well, but she was also well prepared by Naren. Naren never mat Maya or Tara in person, but kept in touch with them on their landline, via a payphone outside his Dojo.Karan finds out that the dead body had strangle marks on the neck and blunt injury at the back of the head. His colleague says that both injuries look like that from a coil water heater.
Karan lures Maya out of the house and his colleagues enters the house behind her to take the coil heater for analysis. But the coil heater does not match the patterns found on the dead body. It is not the murder weapon.Karan is about to close the case and leave Kalimpong, when he learns from Maya's colleague at the cafe that Naren is Maya's only friend in the city. Naren had hidden this information from Karan.
Naren was on leave on the day of the murder. For the first time in 10 years of service.
Karan is convinced that Naren had something to do with the murder, leading towards a dangerous cat-and-mouse game between the two.
Karan tries to rile Naren by implying that Karan had a mutually lustful connect with Maya. But Naren plays it cool.
Naren meets Maya and tells her to stay out of the matter, no matter what happens.The next day Naren admits to Karan that he killed Ajit. He says that he is Maya's bodyguard and he killed Ajit because he knew never wanted to see him again. Naren described step by step how he lured Ajit to an isolated area, strangled him, bashed his face and burnt his body.
Naren is adamant that Maya was asking for his help through the gap in their walls, while she was pretending to talk to Tara. Naren appears as mentally deranged. Maya, of course, says that she knows nothing.
Naren says that he is revealing all this as Maya betrayed him with Karan. Karan finds the murder weapon in Naren's bathroom. His internet search history had instructions on how to dispose a body.Towards the end, both Naren's scheme and the reason for his devotion to Maya are revealed: Naren had lost his will to live due to his depression and was prepared to commit suicide when he was interrupted by Maya introducing herself, leading him to become deeply attached to her and thankful for her unknowingly saving his life.
Naren had solved a math problem after 10 years of hard work and then found that someone else had solved it 2 days ago. This was the reason for his depression and attempted suicide.In order to deceive the investigation, Naren murdered a second person, a homeless man who he had seen prior on his commute to work, and made the police believe he was Ajit, in order to obfuscate the date and time of the murder by 24 hours and make it so that in the end he could take the fall.Naren eventually confesses to the crime to protect Maya and pretends to be mentally unstable. He is imprisoned and he spends his time in prison solving a complex mathematics problem.

The story takes place in Tamilnadu, where Arjun lives with his parents, Shankar and Priya, and his paternal grandfather, Shanmugam. Arjun takes a liking to animals. Fernando Lee is the owner of many dogs and has won the International Dog Competition six years in a row. Fernando wants to have the best dogs so he can use them during competitions, so when his Siberian Husky gives birth to a blind puppy, he orders his henchmen to kill the puppy on the city outskirts and bury it. His henchmen fail to do so, as the puppy flees and successfully escapes from them. Fernando's henchmen lie to him, stating they killed the puppy, however, they have the constant fear that Fernando will eventually find out.Arjun's father, Shankar, struggles to pay the mortgage loan on their house. As a result, Shankar's father and Arjun's grandfather, Shanmugam, criticise him for paying for Arjun's school fees instead of their house fees. Arjun accidentally discovers the puppy and cleans it himself. He begs his mother to keep the puppy, but his mother doesn't allow him and forces him home. That next morning, the puppy used his scent to go to Arjun's bedside and wake him up. Arjun, feeling pity for the puppy, decides to raise the puppy without his family's consent. For an entire week, he hides the puppy in his home. He takes the puppy to school, although it is prohibited. His classmates adore the puppy, which Arjun names Simba (after The Lion King). Fernando's henchmen realise that Arjun has the puppy and try different techniques to take it back and kill Simba, all in vain. Eventually, the principal finds out with the help of PT Master Swaminathan, and Shankar is informed. Shankar is given the last warning. Shankar angrily throws away Simba and angrily confronts Arjun about it. Arjun develops a fever due to Simba's departure. Arjun's mother Priya convinces Shankar to take back Simba, saying that during Simba's stay, Arjun was being well-behaved.Shankar and Arjun go looking for Simba, but they are kicked out due to a bear roaming the area. Arjun has a nightmare, where Simba is eaten by the bear. This causes him to leave the house alone at night and look for Simba. Shankar and Priya realise Arjun is missing and go looking for him. They luckily find him with Simba. The family happily adopts Simba, however, Shanmugam dislikes the presence of Simba. Arjun learns that a local hospital could cure Simba's blindness for two lakhs. He and his classmates start raising money for his surgery. Although they are unsuccessful, they learn about the International Dog Competition happening in Coimbatore, offering a two lakhs winning prize. Arjun signs up for the competition with the help of his father. He wins third place in the first challenge. Simba and Arjun slowly start making their way to the finals.Simba, however, gets successfully kidnapped by Fernando's henchmen but gets saved by Arjun. Fernando's henchmen chase after Arjun, who takes refuge in his friend Ladoo's home. When the henchmen barge in, they are confronted by Ladoo's father, who is a police officer. They get imprisoned for six months. During those six months, Simba makes his way to the finals, and as Simba grows, so does his intelligence. Arjun hears about a Russian doctor in the area, who's offering to do the surgery. Shankar goes, believing it is a free treatment, but refuses when he realises it costs money. The Russian doctor kindly does the treatment for free, and Simba cures his blindness. This helps Simba get into the finals, and Fernando fears that he may have tough competition that year. Fernando goes to Shankar's house and offers to buy Simba in exchange for Shankar's mortgage loan being paid. Shankar refuses, but Shanmugam is angry with that decision. Shankar loses a lot of money shortly after and fears he could lose his house. He goes to Shanmugam defeated, feeling like he failed as a son. Shanmugam suggests that maybe selling Simba would've been a good idea.Shanmugam experiences a heart attack in the middle of the night, only to be saved by Simba, who warned the entire family. Shanmugam recovers, but the remorseful Arjun explains that there is an entry fee for the final dog competition, which Shankar can't pay due to his situation. Shanmugam has a change of heart and offers to pay using his Old Age Security. Fernando learns that Simba was blind-born and realises it might have been his dog. He punishes his henchmen and learns that Simba had just got eye surgery, but this could be disrupted by flashing lights. Fernando causes the stage lights to malfunction and flash, which causes Simba to once again be blind. During the finals, the judges don't allow Simba in due to a policy that says blind dogs are unable to participate. But with the help of Shankar and the audience, Simba is able to get into the game and set a new world record (winning the competition and breaking Fernando's record). Arjun accidentally eavesdrops and hears Fernando demanding the medal be given to him or else he will kill Simba. Arjun gives Fernando his dog, as a result, pleading not to kill it and asking the host to crown Fernando as the winner. Fernando realises his mistake and exposes himself in front of the audience, giving the award and Simba back to Arjun, claiming Arjun is the true winner. Shanmugam expresses that Shankar is the greatest father anyone could have. The family pays the mortgage loans as well as the school fees. Eventually, the family lives happily ever after.

In recent years, due to films and various other means, Ayya's plays attract a meager audience which bothers him. During an act of Sujatha's Oonjal, Ayya dies. After his death, Ayya's assistant Parasuraman and his troupe decide to stage plays frequently. During the rehearsals of Panjali Sabadham, Parasuraman observes that two actors perform significantly better than usual. During the play, he observes that Saravanan, a budding actor performing beyond expectations and also bowing to the audience even when the curtains are closed. Parasuraman affirms that Ayya's spirit is still acting.Saravanan's performance is also observed by Thyagu, a film director on the lookout for the male lead for his next film. He is convinced by Parasuraman that it was Ayya who acted through Saravanan. Thyagu signs Saravanan on in the hope that Ayya will act. Ayya acts through Saravanan and the film becomes a success making Saravanan a sought after actor. It is revealed that Ayya acted in the film because he liked the story of the film.Saravanan signs a film without Parasuraman's knowledge who selects the script for him. During director Sundar's shoot, Ayya's spirit suddenly stops acting after which it is revealed to the public that Ayya acted in the films which featured Saravanan as the lead.Various producers approach Ayya for their film and Parasumaran selects the scripts of the film on the basis of content. This makes Ayya a huge superstar in Tamil Cinema. A producer Dhanapal wants Ayya to act in his film but doesn't reveal that he inserts action and song sequences.When Parasumaran discovers Dhanapal's involvement in this, he is aghast. Afterwards, due to Dhanapal's deception, Ayya stops acting permanently but Dhanapal who wants to complete his film at any cost pressurizes Parasumaran and Ayya's family. After lodging a complaint, the Producers' council alleges that Ayya didn't act in the first place and that they are fraudsters. The case goes to court where Ayya's family gets footage of Dhanapal's film. Dhanapal alleges that they stole his film but the film is presented as an exhibit for the Judge who observes Dhanapal's acting and tells him to act in the film but Dhanapal refuses to act which implies that Ayya acted in the film. The Judge concludes that a man cannot be separated from his art and Ayya though not here but somewhere he is there for his art. After the case ends, a statue commemorating Ayya is consecrated in front of his theater. Elsewhere, a school play is shown where the lead actor bows down for a long time implying that Ayya's spirit is still alive.

When Veda (Mrunal Thakur) and Arjun's (Angad Bedi) families meet to discuss their marriage, the conversation revolves around their shared interests and hobbies. Both sets of parents seem to agree that the couple would make a 'perfect match', as they share many hobbies and common interests. Veda's grandmother, who is religious and widowed, walks into the room, and casually inquires if the couple have had sex yet. The other elders are shocked, and Arjun and Veda are left embarrassed.
Veda's grandmother Kamli (Neena Gupta) insists on the importance of physical intimacy in a relationship, as she believes hobbies can be abandoned and interests change over time. Later that night, she privately narrates to Veda her relationship with her own husband, Veda's grandfather, which was based on mutual attraction for each other, as well as the ability to satisfy the other in bed.
Taking cues from this, Veda and Arjun become intimate, often renting private hotel rooms to engage in intercourse. Veda confesses to her grandmother that, though she enjoys the experience, she isn't left feeling fully satisfied. Meanwhile, Veda's parents Mohini (Kanupriya Pandit) & Mohan (Hemant Kher) are chided by Veda's grandmother for having let the spark die out of their own relationship, and forcing the same on to their daughter.
One afternoon, Veda and Arjun visit her grandmother, and excitedly proclaim that they have finally understood how to satisfy the other person in bed. Veda's grandmother is pleased to hear this, and with an open heart offers her blessings for their wedding. She even offers to set up her room for them, to use on their wedding night as a honeymoon suite.The Mirror
Ishita (Tillotama Shome) is a graphic designer, in her early 40s, who lives alone. She suffers from frequent migraines. Her maid, Seema (Amruta Subhash), visits during the day, to clean her apartment. One afternoon, Ishita walks in on Seema having sex with Seema's husband, Kamal (Shrikant Yadav), in her bedroom. Too shocked to confront them, Ishita hides while the couple finish and leave.
Ishita realizes this is a daily occurrence but is unable to stop it. She also realizes being turned on by watching them have sex. The next day, she secretly starts hiding in her apartment, to spy on them through a mirror and leaves her office daily around 3 pm on the pretense of seeing an acupuncturist for her migraines.
One day, Seema spots Ishita in the same mirror and realizes she is being watched. Unable to confront Ishita lest she be fired, but also excited by having someone watch her, she continues and pretends as if nothing has happened.
One afternoon, Ishita accidentally knocks something over, causing a commotion and forcing Seema to confront her. The two hurl accusations at each other and Seema is fired. She struggles to land another job, while Ishita cannot find another maid as rumors about the altercation have spread.
At night, Kamal and Seema argue with each other outside their tiny one-room apartment, right where she found and yelled at her daughter for conversing with her boyfriend. Kamal is at first angry with Seema for screaming at her for something trivial in public at odd hours of the night, which then evolved into an argument about her willingly allowing an invasion of their privacy by Ishita but reconciles when he realizes she did so intentionally as a turn on.
Some weeks later, Ishita and Seema run into each other while buying groceries. They inquire about the other's well-being, and Seema asks if she can come back to work. Ishita agrees, and hands over the keys to her apartment. The next day, Ishita sneaks back into her apartment at 3pm, indicating a return to the old patterns.Sex with the Ex
Vijay (Vijay Varma ) a successful CEO of a company, who is married but has a strained relationship with his wife Anita (Mukti Mohan), meets with an accident while driving his old car. Before the accident, he had a video call with his girlfriend Nisha (Jeniffer Piccinato), who distracted him and caused him to crash into a tree while trying to avoid hitting a cyclist. Unable to start his car or use his phone, he seeks help from the cyclist and they go to a nearby village. He asks a reluctant mechanic to fix his car, but there is no phone signal available.
He goes to a coffee shop and hears a familiar song playing nearby. He follows the sound and finds a woman Shanti (Tamannaah Bhatia) in a red Saree dancing at a community hall. He tries to approach her, but she denies being the person he thinks she is and asks him to leave. A police officer arrives and addresses her by the name he called her, which makes him happy.Inside her house, it is revealed that they were once married, but she disappeared ten years ago. He is thrilled to see her again, but she wants him to leave. They recall their past and have conversations, during which he behaves inappropriately towards her. She repeatedly asks him to go away, but he refuses. They discuss the events leading up to her disappearance, and she suspects that their friend Anu was involved.
Vijay reveals that he married Anu and had children with her, becoming the CEO of Anu's father's company. This angers Shanti, who thinks Anu orchestrated her abduction to marry Vijay. They have sex, and while lying together, Shanti mentions the pregnancy test she took before her disappearance. Vijay's response reveals that he manipulated the situation with Anu and planned everything to marry Anu. Anu had seen the result of the pregnancy test in Shanti's bathroom as she was there for a festival. Vijay knew the brand of the test kit Shanti used, even though Shanti never revealed it to him.
Shanti realizes this and confronts him, and he proceeds to suffocating Shanti and killing her with a pillow. In order to escape the arriving policeman, Vijay escapes through a window. Back at his car, he sees people pulling his body out, thinking he is dead because he didn't respond. Shanti appears next to him and tells him he should have returned when he had the chance to which he screams.Tilchatta
Suraj Singh (Kumud Mishra) is a wealthy former king in rural Rajasthan, who lives in a palace with his wife and step-son Ankur (Zeeshan Nadaf). He is sexually abusive towards, not just his wife, Devyani (Kajol), but also to young girls in the village. He had married Devyani after lusting for her in a prostitution house, and took in her son too.
After he assaults a maid working at the palace, forcing her to quit, Devyani is tasked with a replacement. On a regular weekly call, Devyani's mother, who runs a prostitution house, tells Devyani of a young prostitute contracting "the disease" (HIV) through a client. Devyani's mother feels bad for the girl, as her life is ruined at a young age.Meanwhile, Devyani is preparing her 20-year-old son, Ankur, to move to United Kingdom for higher education. Ankur is reluctant to leave his mother alone with his stepfather, but Devyani's long-term plan is to follow Ankur abroad once he settles down. Suraj discourages Ankur in his plans, and also keeps chiding him for his unknown father.
Suraj sets his eyes on Rekha (Anushka Kaushik), the new maid hired by Devyani to replace the one who quit. Rekha, is young and innocent, and Suraj tries to take advantage of her on the pretext of getting a massage. Ankur walks in at the same time, and Suraj is forced to leave. Meanwhile, Ankur notices Rekha's disheveled appearance as she adjusts her clothing.At night, Devyani is awoken by sounds of pleasure and moaning emanating from a room in the castle. She believes it is Suraj and Rekha, and seems oddly pleased. Unknown to Suraj, Rekha is the former prostitute, hired from Devyani's mother, to work in the castle. Devyani installs her, hoping that she will pass the "disease" on to Suraj once he inevitably assaults her. As Devyani walks towards the room to seek confirmation, she is interrupted by the sound of Suraj stumbling into the house. He is drunk and unable to walk, and passes out in the courtyard. Devyani is shocked, and turns with a look of horror at the sounds still emanating from the room. She realizes her plan has horribly backfired, as Rekha is likely having sex with Ankur.

Vijay Rajendran, the youngest son of an eminent business magnate, Rajendran Palanisamy, is disowned and thrown out of the house as he refused to join the family business, instead deciding to launch a food delivery startup. Seven years later, Rajendran is diagnosed with advanced-stage pancreatic cancer and has only a few more months to live. He decides to reveal his terminal condition and make one of his two elder sons, Jai or Ajay, as the chairman of the company, before his impending death.With this in mind, Rajendran plans to celebrate his 65th birthday in a grand manner, with the intention of announcing both matters during the celebration. Vijay is also invited at the behest of his mother Sudha, who still considers him as her son. Vijay arrives only to find his house in disarray. Jai is cheating on his wife, Aarthi, with another woman, Smitha, and neglecting his family in the process, including his teenage daughter, Ria. Ajay owes a huge amount of money to Mukesh, a financier. When he is not able to repay the money, he offers to leak his company's secrets to his father's business rival, Jayaprakash "JP"; the two elder brothers themselves do not speak with each other and constantly fight for being their father's successor.Meanwhile, Vijay meets Divya, Aarthi's younger sister, who has a crush on Vijay since her childhood. After a few incidents, the duo fall for each other. During Rajendran's birthday celebration, JP and Mukesh reveal the duplicity of Jai and Ajay, which distraughts the entire family, particularly Aarthi, who decides to file for divorce, as well as Rajendran, who has lost a business deal to JP due to Ajay's duplicity. Realising that he cannot rely on his elder sons to run his business empire, Rajendran reaches out to Vijay, who initially refuses, but later agrees to take over the business after learning about Rajendran's terminal illness.In jealousy and dismay, Jai and Ajay leave the house and join hands with JP and Mukesh to get rid of Vijay as the chairman, but Vijay manages to cross the hurdles and neatly handles the family business. After Vijay rescues Ria from human traffickers, Jai realises his mistakes and reconciles with Vijay, Aarthi, and the rest of the family. Vijay and Jai team up to stop Ajay from selling their company's shares to JP, where they make him realise his mistakes. With the whole family now reunited, they have a hearty meal together, much to the happiness of Rajendran and Sudha. When Rajendran dies, the three brothers perform his funeral together and scatter his ashes in Varanasi. Vijay Rajendran ends the film by giving an important message: "No family is perfect, but you have only 1 family".
